I'm currently looking for bands to work with in building my portfolio of music photography, live performance video and music videos.

I have a wide range of kit allowing me to capture quality audio as well as visuals.

My style is generally high energy with plenty of camera movement.

I'm based in Plymouth in the South West - home of some great bands such as Land of the Giants, Mad Dog Mcrea, The Vibes, Vince Lee, The Infinite Collective, Hamer & Isaacs Gypsy Swing Band ...

My email is simon@atlanticvideos.co.uk

Simon Mees was contracted to film our show, "The Unsigned Chart" in May, Simon had already shown his excellent abilities in producing and directing on film to us but on the day he went far beyond the scope of his contract and succesfully managed organising more than 12 bands during a long 18 hours film shoot spanning several locations in London on that day.

Simon and his team worked very hard at making sure everything went to plan with the filming and I have no doubt whatsoever of his ability to organise any projects in the future.

Keith Davis, Unsigned Chart

Atlantic Videos were a pleasure to work with, they made the cast and extras feel at ease, their idea input was welcomed and constructive, and they carried out the filming with the utmost professionalism. They made our ideas for a video into the perfect realisation. We highly recommend Simon and Atlantic, Thanks Guys!.

Reza Udhin, Inertia & Killing Joke

Simon Mees of Atlantic Videos created an incredible video for my song 'Staggering Sun'. My ideas for the video were not particularly focused, but Simon skilfully teased out exactly what I wanted and created a finished product that far exceeded my expectations. When filming the video, he was completely focused and motivated. He had the practical and creative ability to give perfect form to my rambling ideas, making something utterly fitting for the song.

When we first met Simon to chat about a music video for Mary's Lover, we had a few sketchy, fumbling ideas. Simon took these, a recording of the song and a copy of the lyrics, and with his creative mind powers moulded our vague thoughts into a more substantial vision. During the design stages Simon kept in contact with us to make sure we were happy with the direction the video was headed and to catch any further ideas we might throw at him. When we were shooting the video, Simon's technical knowledge and ability made it seem effortless and his friendly approachable manner helped us to quickly feel comfortable in front of the camera. The Mary's Lover video has now evolved into something we are all very proud of and excited by and have great memories of being involved in.

On behalf of the band MOJO I would like to thank Simon for all his hard work and despite a few technical hitches because our client never had the right electric outdoor generator, Simon still managed with all his expertise to produce a great video for the band.

Daniel Kobale, MOJO

I just want to say what a great time I had working with Simon on the video he made for my song That Woman ... What makes working with Simon a joy is that he consults with you along the way. Always the right amount so as to make you feel part of the creative process. Always professional yet maintaining a sense of humour whilst never taking his eye off the ball. I can't wait to work with him again and cannot recommend him highly enough.
